I don’t know why, but I had an urge to make a silver Stonehenge. However looking at the sites for three-dimensional [3] models, this seemed too difficult, but I did like the look of an model of three trilithons here. I got my brother to purchase the model data and print a couple of [3] models one three centimetres high and the other four centimeters high. I used the Delft clay system to make the silver items.
The base was too thin on the 3cm version so I thickened it for the 4cm one. Some problems on the way, but I’m pleased with the result. Unlike the [3] models, these are solid, so the big one weighs nearly 200g. Both have the full UK hallmarks for sterling silver.
